1. Show Your True Self

Showing your true self to your clients helps you attract like-minded people that will appreciate who you are and what you have to offer. Don't be afraid to show your personality, glimpses into your personal life and never feel like you have to change yourself or work style to work with somebody.

2. Think About Past Clients

Think about who you have enjoyed working with in the past, why you enjoyed working with them and what their typical characteristics and behaviours are.
This will give you a better idea of who it really is you want to attract and what type of marketing will work best.

3. Align Yourself with Your Target Demographic

It's time to start thinking about how your business goals and attributes align with your target demographic. Look at the location of your demographic, their income and buying personalities and how your business may appeal to them and what you may need to change.

4. Identify a Common Problem to Solve

What is a common issue that needs to be solved by your target demographic? Think about why your ideal client would come to you, what makes you desirable and what makes your business unique and build upon that. It's important to take a step back and look at your business from a fresh and critical perspective. Think about approaching a few of your target market members to give you an honest review of your business.

5. Online Marketing

Where are your ideal clients found online? What websites do they visit, where do they hang out on social media? These are all things that you need to think about in terms of where to advertise and where to interact with your clients. Instagram is a great platform for showing your true self and to engage with either past clients or potential clients.

6. In Person Advertising

Where can you find your clients in real life? What type of activities do they enjoy, where do they work and where can you engage with them in person? Thinking this way will also give you more ideas about where to advertise and who you need to be engaging with.

All in all, it's important not to get discouraged and to continue experimenting with different ways of attracting your ideal clients - it only takes one "true fan" to spread the word about you so keep going until you find your one!
